“Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls”
visual display for Multicultural Week
The “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls” visual display was displayed in St. Mary’s Hall, Feb. 13-20, as a part of St. Mary’s 2020 Multicultural Week. Students Aimee Boggs, Destiny Walker, and Enitan Onayiga designed and set up this display in order to raise awareness about issues that impact indigenous communities, particularly keeping in mind the Blackfeet reservation, a S.O.U.L. trip location and home to Boggs. Most of the T-shirts were donated by the admissions office and Alisa Macksey, the dean of student success and head of the First Generation Initiative.
